Nurses and food

I THOUGHT these old pictures from Batley Hospital I found in the News archives might go well with the recipe book as they too feature nurses and food!
One is a glimpse of nurses hard at work in the hospital kitchen.
The other looks like it was also taken in the kitchen, judging by the racks of ribs hanging in the cupboard. I am assuming they're from an animal rather than a patient!
But does anyone recognise any of the faces on the picture or know when it might have been taken?
