I was one of her chicks! AS a former Editor-in-Chief of the Reporter Series I wanted to add my congratulations to Margaret Watson on achieving 50 years in journalism, all with her beloved Reporter newspapers.

We know why they stay away THANK you Trish Makepeace. So anyone who does not share your opinion or views should keep quiet (Respect for Town not Dead, Reporter Rostrum, June 27).

Thank you for a job well done KNOWING how important it is that we all receive appreciation for a job well done, I would like to thank you and the staff at the Reporter for the well presented and interesting paper you publish.

Lights will be turned out IN response to letters in the Reporter (June 20 and June 27). The stall lights at Dewsbury Market are on timers.
